Step-by-step guide

Discover how to create health certificates in just 4 simple steps:

Step 1: Choose the shipment your certificate is linked to

Before the creation of a health certificate:  

When you need to order a health certificate, you will already have created the shipment and booked the transport with the carrier on the Traid-platform. Here you can see the overview of all your shipments.

  1. Select the consignment for which you want to create a health certificate and click on “Create documents” – No 2 icon from the left 
  2. Choose “Create Food/Health Certificate”

Step 2: Search for the country of destination and choose certificate type

  1. Use the search function to find the country of destination for the shipment (in this case Japan) 
  2. Choose the type of health certificate that matches your shipment

Step 3: Check that all information is correct

Here you will see the provisional health certificate, pre-filled with the information you have entered for the selected consignment. If you wish to edit the information before saving, please do so as follows:

  1. Click the field you want to edit in the certificate itself. The corresponding editing-field will then be highlighted on the right side, where you can change the information

Step 4: Preview, save, print or change format

When all information is correct, you have the following 6 options before clicking “Send“:

  1. Click on “Decimals” to change the number of decimals displayed in the certificate. Here you can also change the date format, if there are specific requirements for this 
  2. Click on “Preview” to check that the certificate looks correct before saving 
  3. Click on “Print” to send to a printing service, if this is set up for your company. If not, it is an option to print the certificate yourself 
  4. Click on “Save” to save the certificate 
  5. Click “Save & close” to save the certificate and return to the overview 
  6. Finally, click “Send” in the bottom left corner and your health certificate application will immediately be sent to the selected printing service partner
